This document is a report of the DBSV Teej Celebration 2023 which was celebrated with great enthusiasm by DBSV on 26th August 2023 at Coburg Townhall, Coburg Victoria with the presence of more than 600 Nepalese women and distinguished guests from different local bodies and organisations.

This document is the report of the ‘DBSV Teej Event 2022’ organised by DBSV on the occasion of the Nepalese women’s significant festival ‘Teej. This document is the report of the DBSV BOOK LAUNCH PROGRAM 2022 ‘NEPALESE WOMEN’S TALES OF RESILIENCE’ was held at Glenroy Community Hub on the 10th of December 2022. This book intends to explore and share the life stories and experiences of Nepalese immigrant women and their resilience in Australia. The book is also meant to highlight immigrant women’s experiences of both, marginalization, struggle, isolation, racism, adversity, and their courage, the unique resilience, strength, hope, inspiration, and resourcefulness that helped them to overcome the situation, to claim their place and to live a meaningful life.

This document is a report on the DBSV Youth M3 Zone Project. From the 9th of July till the 13th of August DBSV organised fun and interactive youth community sessions. It occurred every Saturday, spanning six weeks at the Uniting Church of Glenroy. The aim of the program was to bring young people together and discuss challenging questions; something that doesn’t occur frequently in public schools. This document is a report on DBSV’s PRMC project that was commenced to support the Nepalese community, especially those at high risk and vulnerable after Covid 19 Pandemic, through community safety and vaccine education, emergency relief and prevention, health Communications, mental health education, and casework support. The project was supported by the Victorian Government through the Priority Response to Multicultural Communities during Coronavirus (PRMC) program.

This document is a report of DBSV’s 2022 International Women’s Day (IWD) event which took place on Friday 11 th March at Glenroy Uniting Church. IWD 2022 theme ‘Break the Bias’ celebrated the tremendous efforts of women and girls on this very special occasion. The event’s objective was to demonstrate DBSV’s commitments towards gender equality and to acknowledge women’s contribution and their accomplishments in the community.

This document is a report of DBSV’s 4th Women Dialogue Digital Forum “Parenting Children in different Culture: Challenges and Opportunities” which was held on the 8^th of November 2021 via Zoom. The digital forum aimed to discuss challenges faced in parenting and raising children in diverse cultures and to discuss the opportunities and strategies to deal with those challenges.

This document is a short description of the mental health workshop organised by DidiBahini Samaj Victoria (DBSV) in partnership with Neami National intending to highlight the significance to balance and strengthening health and well-being and promoting mental health care. Health matters seven weeks workshop commenced from March 27, 2021, and was facilitated via a digital platform, Zoom. The workshop contained both individual and group sessions. The workshop brought together a total of 9 women from the Nepalese community to share their experiences and issues related to wellbeing and mental health.

This is a report of a women dialogue digital forum organised by Didi Bahini Samaj Victoria with a motivating theme “Women Entrepreneurs and their Challenges”. The session was held on the 8^th of August, 2021 to highlight the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and to share panel speakers’ valuable insights to inspire the initiation of women-owned and women-led enterprises. The forum was organised and facilitated via a digital platform, Zoom. The digital platform brought together six women entrepreneurs (panel speakers) from Nepal and Australia.
